Conversation with 3 star UNC target Jamaal Jarrett

Yesterday, Outside UNC had a conversation with 3 star UNC target Jamaal Jarrett, who recently took an unofficial visit to UNC. We want to thank Jamaal for answering our questions and giving us insight on where he stands after his visit, considering this was our first interview.

Question: What was the favorite part of your visit?

Answer: “I really loved the campus and the stadium”

Question: Did you like the campus/facilities?

Answer: “Yes the school itself is amazing and the staff is just wonderful they make sure the students and student athletes succeed and enjoy their college life”

Question: How were your conversations with Mack & the rest of the coaching staff?

Answer: “Talking with Mack brown himself had me think about what I need to do to be on the top he really expressed to me what it was like to be a tar heel and a leader of North Carolina”

Question: What other schools did you visit and did UNC meet your expectations?

Answer: “I haven’t visited any other school’s but Unc would for sure be in my top 5 in the future they soared way over my prediction”

Question: What schools are recruiting you the hardest?

Answer: “UNC, Florida, Georgia are the top 3 schools recruiting me the hardest as of right now”

Question: Could you see yourself at UNC in the future?

Answer: “😉”

ANALYSIS:

It’s safe to say Jamaal enjoyed his visit and confirmed via Twitter he will be taking another visit. As his recruiting process goes along we should see a lot more schools involved and his recruitment really heat up. It was a great move by Mack to get involved early, and we will see how that affects Jamaal’s outlook on UNC in the future.
